Opera Tavern, the beloved Spanish-Italian small plates restaurant in Covent Garden, recently underwent a sleek redesign with a brand-new menu and Head Chef at the helm. So to celebrate they will reopen with a soft launch from Wednesday to Saturday next week!
Sister to Spanish restaurants Salt Yard, Ember Yard and Dehesa, Opera Tavern first launched in 2011 in a former pub in the heart of theatreland. Known for its top-quality Spanish and Italian style tapas and warm atmosphere, it quickly became something of an institution. With a refreshed look and feel, the new-look space is lively, warm and inviting, returning to the early days of the convivial atmosphere and incredible seasonal food that the restaurant was so well-known for. New example dishes include pluma with piquillo pepper puree; Welsh lamb belly, summer vegetables & hazelnut & capra pesto; lemon sole, basil puree and brown shrimp sauce and bavette, onion and bone marrow.
Opera Tavern will be on soft launch from Wednesday 24th – Saturday 27th July with 50% off food only (for up to tables of 4) for lunch and dinner and fully to the public on Tuesday 30th July at 23 Catherine St, Covent Garden, WC2B 5JS.
