Hi, I’m Stacey, a freelance journalist and copywriter based in East London.
In 2013 I founded the website Crummbs and with my finger firmly on the pulse of London’s hospitality scene, I successfully grew this into the food and travel website it is today, also managing all social network accounts.
Specialising in food, spirits, wine and travel, I write regularly for The Independent, alongside The i Paper, Balance Magazine, BBC Good Food, Women’s Health and Conde Nast Traveller. I also write hotel reviews for Mr & Mrs Smith hotels.
Aside from journalism, I also offer a bespoke PR service to clients in the food, drink and restaurant sphere.
Struggling with strategy?
I regularly work with major brands on bespoke campaigns to create engaging online content. Previous clients have included Samsung, Pho, Dorset Cereal and Heinz among others.
Need access to my little black book of contacts?
I’ve developed excellent relationships with PRs, journalists and key influencers, identifying newsworthy value in pitches.
I’m completely flexible, able to offer short four week launch campaigns through to long-term rolling contracts. I only ever work with a select number of clients so you know you’ll have my undivided attention – almost as if I was working in-house. Confident writing everything from crisp news stories, insightful features and engaging SEO blog posts, website copy and press releases. As well as being able to advise on social media strategy and influencer partnerships, I have experience using analytics and social platforms to grow loyal audiences.
