Brixton Beach

This week has seen GLORIOUS sunshine flood the city – so what better place to make the most of these ray’s then Brixton Beach?

Opening Friday 26th May with a Cuban theme, Brixton Beach will be serving up a winning combination of cocktails, street food and entertainment – let’s hope the sun stays shining!!!
Expect a series of individual events and experiences, involving immersive day and night parties, DJ sets, summer film screenings, beach barbeques and daily exercise classes, whether you’re looking to get fit or fiesta the summer evenings away, the beach has something for all.

Aromatic fresh mint hangs down from the bars roof in tendrils alongside swathes of exotic hanging foliage, perfect for drinkers to pick and garnish their own cocktails with. The Cuban-inspired cocktail menu will include Caribbean classics such as Rum Daiquiris, Piña Coladas, Cubanitos and Mojitos. The rooftop bars will also feature Cuban cocktail libations from Bacardi, as well as dedicated bars from iconic Jamaican lager Red Stripe and Chandon. Sun-kissed sand, colourful murals and pastel beach huts inspired by Havana will dot the rooftop. Guests can salsa the evenings away in The Clubhouse, a covered area inspired by famous nightclubs such as La Floridita and La Bodeguita del Medio, with an ever-evolving series of live music, dancers and cabaret performances.

The project will host a selection of resident food traders, from some of the UK’s best street food vendors including; Mac and Cheese experts, Mac to the Future, Brixton’s most loved Japanese soul food, NanbanDel 74, straight-up, traditional Mexican tacos and STAKEhaus, offering high quality British steak. Brixton Beach will also introduce weekly barbeque chef residencies from renowned BBQ joints from across the City every Thursday, welcoming some of the best restaurants to the roof including Mama’s Jerk and Negril.
