The gods of boozy coffee, Mr Black are set to fire the starting pistol on the capital’s first ever Espresso Martini Festival with the ultimate caffeine fueled giveaway. There will be 1,000 free Espresso Martinis exclusively available from 6pm on the 9 August at Shoreditch Grind, London.
Available on a first come first serve basis and only until stocks last, all you have to do is visit Shoreditch Grind, next to Old Street station, let them know you’re there for a freebie and join the line.
The giveaway marks the eve of the start of Mr Black’s Espresso Martini Fest, which runs from 10-12th August. The festival will celebrate the capital’s most famous cocktail export and include some of the most prestigious and best loved cocktail bars in the world.
Working hand in hand with DrinkUp.London, the company behind the award-winning London Cocktail Week, the three-day festival will see 65 top cocktail bars across the city pouring £5 variations on this celebrity of the drinks world. Alongside the eponymous serve, each bar will also be rustling up a unique coffee-based cocktail that makes use of Mr Black coffee liqueur – sounds delicious!
Alongside Shoreditch Grind some stand-out bars taking part include the award-winning Milk & Honey, Jason Atherton’s Blind Pig, the hugely successful Grind venues as well as many other outstanding venues such as Cocktail Trading Company, Original Sin, 46 & Mercy, Bourne & Hollingsworth Buildings and all the London Cocktail Clubs.
Attendees to the festival will need to purchase a £10 Festival Pass via DrinkUp.London and download the free app to search for bars taking part.
Once signed up, simply flash your festival pass on your phone at each participating bar to enjoy outstanding cocktails at any time over the three days for just £5.
