Hooked on all thing Olympics? Loving the leotards and can’t turn off the tele? Still looking for somewhere special to watch the closing ceremony? We have just the place!
SUSHISAMBA have created a special menu inspired by Brazilian street food which is available throughout the games.
The small menu is to be taken in the bar area (incredible views included) and they’ll even be broadcasting the closing ceremony for your viewing pleasure!!
If you like your drinks long, creamy & fruity, the Baida de Mango will be right up your street. Sweet but still very naughty, it’s spiked with Abelha cachaça and Benedictine liqueur. The Kaffirinha is super refreshing, with lime, plenty of crushed ice & even a stick of sugar cane.
For groups of two, we suggest working your way through the whole menu – you won’t leave stuffed but it’s perfect bar food. Pasteis were salty and moreish and served alongside a generous dip – Brazil does chips and dips so much better.
However, the standout dish for us was the Yellowtail Nigiri – be sure to double dip, the coconut shavings make this next level sushi. You might want to order two portions.
Dessert was almost too pretty to eat but we just about managed it. A heavenly slice of vanilla French Toast, soaked in pineapple, & topped with passion fruit ice-cream. Close your eyes and pretend you’re on Copacabana Beach.
So whoever you’re cheering on – make sure you doing it in true Brazilian style.
Available until the 21st August: https://sushisamba.com
