Neighbourhood favourite Sodo serves up a small but perfectly formed selection of sourdough pizzas, a banging wine list and some of our favourite affogato in town.
It has a laid back vibe but is always super busy & buzzy. We loved the big benches, exposed brickwork and empty tomato tins adorning every surface. If you ask nicely enough the nice staff will let you take one home!
Start with a sharing platter of cured meats or a big ball of oozy burratina with lashings of olive oil before moving on to the main draw.
There are about six pizzas with another couple of daily specials normally on offer.
Our favourite is the Cured Meat, which has a bit of a kick. However some of our favourites have been the specials! Whatever you go for, you’ll be happy – it’s some of the best pizza we’ve ever had – and we are very serious when it comes to pizza.
Tables turn around fast but if they can’t squeeze you in, you can always take your pizza pie to go.
