Plonk Golf London Fields

Plonk London Fields

Seven quid doesn’t get you a great deal in the capital but that exactly how much a round of Plonk Golf will cost you. Located opposite London Fields’ iconic Pub on the Park, you’ll find a sun-soaked private yard calling out for your best hole in one. It’s super fun with points deducted for the downright impossible – however, we’re pleased to report we won (just!).

Inside the fun continues with retro arcade machines, shooters, foosballs and over 100 board games, tiki bar, sarnie shop and ice-cream parlour. We don’t know how they crammed it all in!

Obviously you’ll have worked up quite the thirst after tackling that lot. Good news then, Plonk Golf also run a BYOC service! Just bring along a spirit of your choice and the clever bar team will rustle you up sharing jugs of tropical cocktails. WIN. Foodwise it’s all about the sourdough sando. Ideal for sharing (trust us, they are big boys), each is stuffed with the likes of ham, cheese and pickles or the brunch-friendly ‘Wake and Bake’ with eggs, sausage, baked beans and mushrooms. Cool off with an ice cream float which can be spiked with booze on request.

Being this close to the park it would be a shame not to take your feast alfresco, so Plonk has come up with a picnic package too including picnic loaves, jugs of mixer, ice and fruits ready for mixing with your shop-bought booze and entertainment including boules, skittles and jumbo foam dice for some drinking snake and ladders.

Due to the ongoing COVID crisis Plonk can only allow groups of up to six booking in one sitting. There was hand-sani offered on arrival but it is a small space and obviously arcade machines to involve a fair bit of touching so be sensible and thoughtful of your fellow punters.

The BYOC experience includes jumbo sharer sandwiches, a round of golf, 10 tokens, sarnies and will set you back £30 per person, however, if your gang brings beer or wine then the package costs just £20 per person.
