For the past six months, Matsuri has been undergoing a major refurbishment to reopen as super swanky Onodera, a brand new restaurant in St James Park which will focus on traditional Japanese cuisine.
From sashimi and sushi to seafood choices grilled on the Robata, dishes include Kobe Beef Robata Yaki served with Red Miso Truffle Sauce, Turbot Kobujime Usuzukuri – a traditional Japanese starter, and slow cooked (15 hours) Duck Confit served with Red Cabbage marinated in Orange Vinegar.
Onodera will open with a soft launch on March 17th – 18th and 20th – 21st, offering diners 50% off food before officially opening on Thursday 23rd March.
Prospective customers will need to book their table in advance by emailing the restaurant directly and referencing “Soft Launch Onodera” when making the booking.
