If the launch party was anything to go by, Old St. Records is going to be THE place to catch live music, sink a few cocktails and tuck into pizza this summer.
Pro Green, Gizzi Erskine and Carl Barat were all milling about on the opening night – it all got a bit boozy – thanks guys!
Set across two floors, we are promised live music six nights a week, with an eclectic programme of soul, funk, jazz and rock to classic pop and shelves are full to the brim with shiny vinyl to purchase.
From labels showcasing their up-and-coming talent to special one-off events featuring renowned DJs, music is the driving force behind the bar.
Entry is FREE on a weeknight AND there’s a 2-4-1 happy hour until 8pm – a quick drink after work will undoubtedly turn into 10.
The cocktail list features twists on classics include the signature cocktail, Sour Records – a unique take on a Whiskey Sour that adds pistachio syrup into the mix. For a summery hit, Late Breakfast blends grapefruit vodka with pink grapefruit juice, house-made marmalade syrup, grapefruit bitters and a little egg white. Other cocktails on the menu include the Peach Negroni and a Smoked Pineapple Punch.
Super thin-crust pizza will line the stomach and set you up for a night on the dance floor.
