We’re looking ahead to February 2018, when the UK’s biggest pizza festival will be coming to town. We love us a slice of pizza pie, so whilst the 8th Feb sounds like a long way away, we wanna be sure to get those tickets on lockdown!
Foodism’s National Pizza Day is a celebration of one of the best-loved foods on the planet. 400 restaurants are already signed up to discount their pizzas by 30%, create one-off specials and deliver unique collaborations throughout the day.
400 Rabbits, Radio Alice, Homeslice, Yardsale, Voodoo Rays and Pizza Pilgrims are just some of the restaurants supporting this inaugural event: “We are proud and excited to be part of National Pizza Day 2018, celebrating not just some of the best pizzas in the UK, but the best in the world… While Napoli may be the spiritual birthplace of the pizza, London certainly feels like the future. Here’s to National Pizza Day!” Daniel Edwards, 400 Rabbits.
Nationwide reach is guaranteed with Strada, Gusto, Rossopomodoro, and Prezzo also confirmed to take part, and many more vendors anticipated to sign up before the event launches. Further vendors, international chef participation, London’s most outrageous pizza cocktail, and exclusive pizza collaborations will be unveiled in the run up to Foodism’s National Pizza Day.
The celebrations begin on 8th February with a pizza party at London’s Street Feast venue, Hawker House (if you haven’t been yet, it’s a huge converted warehouse in Canada Water) on the eve of Foodism’s National Pizza Day. A 12-strong line-up of the UK’s best pizza restaurants and traders will come together for a night of pizza collaborations and one off specials, served to a crowd of 1500 pizza superfans.
Tickets are £15 and go on sale today (5th December). Ticketholders have access to the party at Street Feast’s Hawker House and two complimentary drinks.
