Sundays: a time for recovery, relaxation or keeping the party rolling. However you want to enjoy your ‘day of rest’, you can do it all at RECOVER – a Sunday yard party at London’s first dedicated vodka distillery Our/London.
Staying true to their vision of celebrating the local community, the Hackney-based founders of cult new vodka brand Our/London are inviting locals, their friends and family to the distillery to enjoy a day of killer Bloody Marys, Kombucha cocktails, tasty street food, first class coffee and ultimate Sunday session vibes.
Serving Bloody Marys made with The Pickle House’s new signature mix, Our/London is partnering up with fellow Hackney-ites JARR Kombucha who’ll be on-hand for all your detox AND retox drink needs and local DJ HAAi of Dalston’s Ridley Rd Market bar, spinning laid back soul, funk and Motown. All drinks products will be available for take-away sale too.
And don’t worry if you’re still bleary-eyed from Saturday night, you can get your caffeine fix courtesy of the top-notch baristas from Coffee Space and sugar hit from Fairy Pan. Meanwhile, food truck Sub Cult will be serving up gourmet subs including surf, turf and veggie options Sub-Marine (seared scallop, blackened calamari and pork) Sub-Terranean (woodland mushroom, stilton and white truffle) and the Sub-Bourbon (Chicago style chopped pork loin, marinated in bourbon and maple with a smoked bacon marmalade and smoky mayo).
Finally, to add an element of urban culture, RECOVER will also feature street muralist Ed Hicks painting a mind-blowing graphic landscape on the wall of the distillery.
‘The distillery space was built with this exact kind of gathering in mind. We’ve got a bar, gallery space, sunny yard, great sound system – perfect for that ‘day after’ vibe. I can’t think of a better spot to recharge and recover; serious coffee, bargain Bloody Marys, some tasty street food and chilled tunes. And ping pong…’ Clive Watson, co-owner of Our/London.
