Those running the London Marathon 2019 this Sunday 29th April can look forward to these food & drink freebies from restaurants across the City. You only have to run 26.2-miles in order to qualify. We’ll be updating this as we get more.

Free Breakfast at Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea
Chef Tom Aikens is giving away either a Full English or Vegetarian Breakfast Board to anyone who presents their medal on Monday 29 April from 9-11am. Tuck into either a full protein feast with the Full English – two fried eggs, bacon, sauce, grilled tomato, portobello mushroom, Heinz baked beans, black pudding and toast; or the more virtuous Vegetarian Breakfast Board with crushed avocado, quinoa & cucumber salad, feta dukkah crumb, cashew mayonnaise, tomato shallot sauce, pickled radish and a toasted muffin.
From the crucial fuel-up to the triumphant bounce-back, the popular plant-based eatery has you covered, whether you’re a novice or a natural. The offer launches on Monday 22nd April and will run through for a whole week until Monday 29th, to redeem the offer volunteers and runners simply show their registration. Expect the likes of avocado pesto pasta, banana walnut bread made in house and quinoa taco salad with seitan chorizo. Don’t worry, they do wine too.
Free Wild Bowls at Mac & Wild
Roll up Roll up, Marathon Runners. Scottish champions Mac & Wild will be congratulating all London Marathon runners on Monday 29th April at both Mac & Wild restaurants with FREE wild bowls. Choose from salmon with sea buckthorn diced salmon, super grains, green bean salad, miso, lime & sesame, kimchee, Asian dressing and puffed barley or the wild vegan pulse pop bowl with golden vegan haggis pops. And for the meat eaters there’s the wild venison bowl with grilled venison steak, heirloom tomato panzanella salad, salsa verde & crackling. Marathon runners only need to wave their medal with pride to gain their well-deserved treat. Just don’t forget to bring your bling!
Pick Up a Free Pizza at Bunga Bunga Battersea
This year, Bunga Bunga Battersea are wishing all London Marathon runners a big complimenti (congratulations), and offering every medal holder a free pizza at Bunga Bunga on Sunday 28th April. Runners simply have to parade their medal to receive a whole pizza completely free of charge. Whether they run to a ‘Ruby Loves’ topped with nduja, calabrese salame, cherry tomatoes & mozzarella or want to medal a ‘Micaela Margherita’, Bunga Bunga will welcome runners over the finish line with open arms.
Free Burger for Medalists at Whyte & Brown
On Monday 29th April, head to free range chicken champs, Whyte & Brown for a free roast chicken crispy burger! They’ll be giving them out to anyone who brings in their medal on the day itself and the Monday after the marathon. Medallists can tuck into a well-earned breaded free range chicken fillet, sandwiched between a layer of gravy mayo, crispy chicken skin, onion relish and a toasted bun.
Free Tuna Poke Bowl at Bluebird Cafe White City
Over at Bluebird Cafe White City they’re handing over a replenishing tuna poke bowl completely free. Competitors need only drop in and show their medal on Sunday 28th April to receive the bowl which comes with quinoa, edamame beans, avocado, bean shoots, crisp fried shallots and spiced tuna.
Brilliant Butter Chicken at Baluchi, Tower Bridge
Award-winning pan-Indian destination Baluchi is treating all marathon runners to a special refuel meal on Sunday 28th April. Simply flash your medal to the team to enjoy a complimentary butter chicken, or aubergine and tamarind curry, accompanied by fluffy pilau rice. It’s the perfect way to celebrate after the big race.
Perfect Pizza at Greenwood, Victoria
Feel the burn and feed it with pizza! Located moments from the finish line, Greenwood in Victoria is rewarding all runners who show their medal, as well as volunteers, with a free ‘2042g’ pizza – featuring 20g of carbs and 42g of protein to help aid muscle recovery. Usually priced at £11, the ‘2042g’ pizza features generous toppings of Italian cured ham, mozzarella and cauliflower on a pea protein enriched base. Veggie version available upon request.
Chase the Chaat at Cinnamon Bazaar, Covent Garden
On Sunday 28th April, Cinnamon Bazaar in Covent Garden is rewarding London marathon runners with a complimentary chaat dish of their choice. Take your pick from nine different varieties on the menu, ranging from the signature papdi chaat with tangy tamarind yoghurt and chickpea vermicelli to a delicious soft shell crab chaat with curried yoghurt, apple and celeriac pickle. If you’ve managed to endure the London Marathon then a celebration is definitely in order. Head down to Bluebird Chelsea with your enviable marathon medal and you will be offered a free drink on Sunday 28th April. And yes, they have an outdoor terrace – hurrah.
Free Negroni’s Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration
On Sunday 28th April, all medallists are invited to Mr Fogg’s Society of Exploration for a complimentary Negroni from the Mechanical Mixologist Machine. Inspired by the famous inventor Rube Goldberg, marathon runners can rest their weary legs as the Mechanical Mixologist Machine makes them a well-deserved Negroni all at the press of a button.
Free Coffee at Colicci, Hyde Park
Colicci invite all medal-baring marathon runners to enjoy a hot cup of coffee for free on Monday 29th April to help them replenish from the day before. The celebratory offer is available at The Italian Gardens Cafe and all six of Colicci’s kiosks in Hyde Park. Apparently, going for a brisk walk the day after the marathon is just what the doctor orders to help the healing process along, and one of London’s most famous Royal Parks is the perfect place to stretch your legs. Colicci’s own range of single origin coffee, roasted in Canning Town, is sure to get the blood pumping and put a spring back in your step.

Any runner who has just completed the gruelling London Marathon definitely deserves a reward. This year Skylon are offering a refreshing complimentary drink to all medal holders. Simply present your medal at the wonderful venue in the Royal Festival Hall on Southbank; relax and enjoy a well-earned drink and panoramic views of the spectacular London skyline.

This year Dabbers Social Bingo are offering all runners bingo on the house on Sunday 28th April 2019.
