BLUE MARLIN IBIZA GOES TO LONDON

La Maison proving that Sunday is the new Saturday.

This month will see nightlife team La Maison launch a series of collaborative events in a unique setting in the heart of The City. On 22nd February Blue Marlin Ibiza, Be Crazy, La Maison Des Artistes, Pooldisco and London Fashion Week present an exclusive all-day event experience, with a phenomenal Sunday brunch with a groundbreaking musical line-up, set in a magnificent art deco building.

The events will take place each month at Banking Hall, an exquisite art deco building in the heart of London’s financial district with a sweeping Grade II listed hall and mezzanine and towering marble columns. Guests can arrive from 2pm for brunch with friends in the upstairs Counting Room or to join the party in the main hall.

 

The first event on 22nd February will be in conjunction with Blue Marlin Ibiza and will serve up a brunch menu inspired by the Balearic beach club menu with dishes including: Oysters Rockefeller, New York Sushi Rolls, Sea Bream Ceviche and the Gourmet Burger served with Triple Cooked Chips. Guests can polish off the perfect Sunday brunch with indulgent puddings such as; Salted Chocolate Fondant with Salted Banana Caramel Sauce and Banana Ice Cream with Dehydrated Banana Chocolate Swirls and Macadamia Praline Tuile.

 

Guests will enjoy live acts, from dancers to drag queens, and performances from internationally renowned Blue Marlin resident, Jean Claude Ades (Ushuaia, Lio, Be Crazy) Neverdogs (Music On), Headspace (Paravana Project), Duel, D.A.X, Vidal Rodriguez (Blue Marlin Ibiza), Nicola Marian Robinson (It’s Rude to Stare) and So:serious (Lica & Jay Medvedeva).

La Maison des Artistes has produced everything from intimate gatherings, large-scale product launches, to some of the most avant-garde pop-up experiences in the capital. La Maison have worked with many high profile and diverse venues and celebrities over the years with A- list attendees at their events such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Kate Moss, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Tinie Tempah and Lewis Hamilton.

 

Blue Marlin Ibiza is one of the most entertaining and avant-garde beach clubs in Ibiza. An international hub attractive a discerning and fun loving crowd who can enjoy sunbathing on the sumptuous bed lounges on the beach, sipping cocktails at the bar, enjoying lunch and dinner at the restaurant, dancing away to the beats of international DJ-sets or simply relaxing in its welcoming and chic environment. They will bring inimitable party style, DJS and crowd to London at the first la Maison event on 22nd February

 

The Banking Hall is the City’s newest events venue of choice and offers a touch of old world glamour at the very centre of London’s iconic financial district. With a mezzanine level that looks out over the Bank of England, the space is flexible and houses state of the art LED lighting and control technology. Since opening in May, The Banking Hall has hosted high profile fashion shows, award ceremonies, filming and product launches alongside private receptions, dinners, parties, and conferences. Notable clients have already included: Nike, Emilia Wickstead and Michael Bublé.

 

Pooldisco and its founder and creative producer Mark Herman are known for hosting ‘must-attend’ parties where guests always expect the unexpected. They always partner with the most fashionable brands, arrange uniquely creative performances and showcase the most renowned international DJs.
