No one can deny the dining hub Broadgate Circle is turning into, with restaurants from Yauatcha, Crab Tavern & loads more. We visited Aubaine on Friday night to see what all the fuss was about.
And it turns out that so did everyone else! Broadgate Circle was BUZZING! Ok, so Friday night was particularly beautiful, and everyone was celebrating the end of the working week with a few drinks, but it had a really fun vibe.
Opening up onto the circle, Aubaine feels light and airy with its white Parisian furniture & bright lights.
Friendly staff showed us to our table where we got stuck into a bottle of the super quaffable house white.
Despite being one of 10 restaurants across London the food felt fresh and good quality – I didn’t feel like I was eating in a chain with identikit meals.
No matter what eating vibe you’ve got going on, the menu really does have something for everyone. Healthy options include Superfood Salad, right through to decadent Lobster Spaghetti.
We recommend sharing the Beef Carpaccio with Truffle Vinaigrette with shavings of parmesan & rocket. Our beef fillet was generous and perfectly cooked, served with thin salty frites – just how we like them!
If you just want to grab some after work drinks, Aubaine offers cheese & meat boards as well as sliders to curb your hunger!
The dessert board is pretty impressive – don’t make the mistake we did and assume they are all for you! Choose one (I know, it’s really hard!) and spend the rest of the night worrying if the others were even better!
