Tucked away just behind Regent Street you feel a million miles away from the crowds.
Share a selection to start – we’d suggest the Octopus, Spinach Fatayer, Zaalouk and the Crispy Gambas wrapped in K’taiffe, avocado purée & labneh cheese stole the show.
Mains included the obligatory cous cous and tagine combos but I enjoyed the saddle of lamb which was a surprisingly light portion.
But aside from the food it’s worth a visit for the décor alone! Not an inch has been spared from the Moroccan treatment. We loved all the trinkets but a trip to the dark toilets is pretty precarious and I witnessed 2 people trip up and swear at themselves alone. Ha!
If its not your birthday just pretend it is – the celebration includes a Bruno Mars lookalike bringing out a cake and gyrating to an entire song before leaving you alone to sip on your mint tea.
