Mobster Meatballs: Capish? Pops-Up At The Hat And Tun

Sopranos style Italian-American street food vendor Capish? is popping up at The Hat and Tun in Farringdon for two weeks in February, serving up delicious sloppy joes and meatball subs, Joey Tribbiani style.

You’ll only be able to get your hands on them 5:30pm – 9pm from Wednesday 17th – Friday 19th February and the following week, Wednesday 24th – Friday 26th February.

Now a regular trader with KERB and Street Feast, Capish? will be serving three of their most popular dishes:

Meatball Hero– The classic NYC meatball sub

Rare breed beef and pork balls, slowly simmered in home-made marinara sauce, served on a toasted polenta sub and drizzled in signature provolone cheese sauce and grated pecorino romano. Also comes with a pot of home-made jalapeno sauce for those who like to add a bit of spice (£7)

Steak ‘Braciole’ Sandwich

45-day dry aged steak stuffed with pecorino, parsley and chilli, slow cooked in a Genovese style sauce and served with bone marrow aioli, melted taleggio cheese and pickled red onions on a buttermilk roll (£8.50)

Deep Fried Lasagne Roll

Filled with short rib ragu, béchamel and mozzarella (£5)
