Yay – Summer’s FINALLY HERE!

And what better way to get that body moving than by taking part in a class with a meal to look forward to at the end. Boxing then brunch, voga and a mocktail or a run to that burger! Now that’s our kinda exercise.

Boxerina classes at Bluebird

On Sunday, 22nd May, following the success of last month’s Barrecore class, Bluebird Chelsea will join forces with Paola’s Body Barre (PBB) to host the innovative Boxerina class. PBB Boxerina draws inspiration from the best of ballet movements, kick-boxing, boxing and HiiT training. The sessions will be led by expert trainer Paola who’s been in the industry for over twenty years, working with celebrities and models. Both sessions will include a delicious Bluebird brunch, and a goody bag filled with treats. Classes are priced at £28pp, and there are two sessions running on 22nd May, starting at either 9:30am or 1pm, and both lasting a total of 2.5 hours.   This is one of many fitness session pop-ups scheduled at Bluebird Chelsea throughout the summer.  For further information and to book, click here.

House of Voga takes to the rooftop at Coq d’Argent

Following the success of last year’s Vogue d’Argent, on Sunday 8th May, City restaurant Coq d’Argent will once again launch the summer series of Voga classes in collaboration with House of Voga. Each class will have a seasonal theme, and will take place in Coq d’ Argent’s stunning rooftop garden, with participants invited to strike a pose surrounded by spectacular views over the City.  Voga is a fusion of yoga and ‘vogueing’, taking participants through dynamic dance to dreamy disco, Voga combines the breath-synchronized movement of Yoga with the expressive moves of a dance class, fusing power and strength with attitude and flamboyance, where alignment is key.  To celebrate the launch of the summer series of classes, on Sunday 8th May, Coq d’Argent will host the Flower Power Garden Party, with a Voga routine performed to 70’s psychedelic funk music from DJ Alex, floral mocktail and fruit, and floral dress code (11am-1pm, £20pp). The following May and June masterclasses will also have a floral theme, as part of the D&D London Blossom City campaign, to celebrate London in bloom.  Tickets can be purchased via this link here.
