Drinks Memories From La Piazza by Simone Caporale

A menu that sees Peroni Nastro Azzurro act as the absolute protagonist.

A menu in which each drink teases The House of Peroni guests and invites them to play, interact and enjoy the Italian lifestyle.

AFTER MARKET

PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO, CELERY JUICE, SPICES

Inspiration: The antagonist of Bloody Mary, tasty as hell, little spicy and perfect for a pre-dinner or a hot afternoon in the piazza after the fruit market took place, still you can see traces of this important daily activity in the piazza… The end of the market in the piazza leave his own signs, such a few fruits or veg in the corners, empty wooden boxes, and all you can feel is the perfumes that the stalls left in the air, the end of a moment, the beginning of another one, of the life in the piazza. After Market

Inspired from the piazza sentence: ” the market is over, there is no more tomatoes left” this drink will bring PNA into a next level of flavours also recommended for food pairing and snacks.

Serve: italian’s take of savory bloody mary, without tomato, black salt from the volcanic ash

Glass: Short rock glass

Recipe:

50 ml celery juice

2 pinch of salt

2-3 dash Tabasco

15 ml lemon juice

200 ml PNA

PIAZZA PALERMO

PERONI NASTRO AZZURRO, WATERMELON, PEPPER, SICILIAN CITRUS

Inspiration: Close your eyes and imagine yourself in the 60’, in a Piazza in the south of Italy, especially in Palermo, where during the summer everyday right before 12o’clock a big load of juice watermelons was delivered in the market, kids were running like crazy to get small segments, from the fruit seller who was sparing some of them… refreshing and proper south Italian element of the countryside, yellow grass land fields, the summer, the young naïve energy that every summer approach our minds.House of Peroni Piazza Palermo
