With so many Christmas and winter events popping up, it’s getting difficult to decide which to head to! South Place Hotel has nailed it, offering a fancy Secret Garden (complete with a snow-making machine…amazing!?) which turns into a pop-up cinema in December for viewings of Elf (our favourite!).
Recline on the green velour sofas with tropical cushions while enjoying delicious mulled wine or sip on festive cocktails with specially distilled sloe gin by Sipsmith. Not only is there the occasional snow shower, there’s even a waterfall and lots of lovely plants to create the perfect tropical garden. Confusing? Quite.
Upstairs leads to the most gorgeous, whimsical winter terrace. Trust us, it’s so comfortable and stylish you will NOT want to leave! All the seats have their own fur blanket and the heaters are on full blast so you stay warm and cosy.
In the evening, there are festive light bites on offer by Michelin-starred restaurant Angler where Executive Chef Gary Foulkes focuses on everything from the sea. The Chop House restaurant on the ground floor offers plenty of delicious meaty options if you’re in need of a more substantial festive feast.
So if you’re looking for a place to celebrate the festive period that has it all swing by the South Place Hotel! The Secret Garden and Winter Terrace are now open for the winter season…
