If you’re looking to get the working week off to a healthy start (and maybe reverse some of the damage you did Friday – Sunday!) look no further than Simple Health Kitchen.
Located near Mansion House, at lunch you’ll find a steady stream of city workers looking to pack some goodness into their diet before they hit the gym that evening.
Founded by former rugby player turned personal trainer and health- conscious restaurateur Bradley Hill, Simple Health Kitchen came about after a life-threatening illness sparked an interest in nutrition.
Hill say’s “There is a misconception that health food has to be boring. The great thing about Simple Health Kitchen is customers can walk in and know anything they choose not only tastes delicious but is also good for them. And getting people to try new dishes and ingredients they never knew they would love, that’s exciting!”. And we couldn’t agree more.
Choose from a seasonally updated menu of mix and match salads and add your choice of protein. We enjoyed fresh salad with dairy free cashew cream, whole wheat pesto pasta and chilli spiked tender broccoli with a protein packed portion of salmon. You’ll also have the option to add a sauce – the chimichurri and tzatziki were great additions.
With plenty of options for vegetarian, vegan and free-from diets you’ll find plenty of room to sit in or take back to your desk.
Washed down with a very green juice, we left ready to take on the afternoon.
Having launched in 2016, Simple Health Kitchen have also recently opened a second site on Baker Street.
