This October, connoisseurs of all things bubbly; Searcys, will celebrate their 170th birthday! To commemorate this special milestone, a variety of standout events and experiences will be taking place over the course of the month.

Highlights include a Champagne Tour through the city of London, a unique Laurent-Perrier afternoon tea experience, free fizz at Searcys St Pancras with a 170-minute “Champagne Countdown” and a 1847 Banquet, a six-course feast paired with wines. Count us in!




Laurent-Perrier Afternoon Tea Experience – 21st and 22nd October

Searcys and Laurent-Perrier Champagne have teamed up to create the most luxurious afternoon tea in London this October.

With a strong focus on the Champagne and Searcys heritage, the afternoon tea experience, guided by a charming Victorian Butler, aims to highlight and capture the emotion behind the two brands at the flagship Searcys venue, Pavilion Road- a Georgian townhouse based in Knightsbridge. Featuring a champagne fountain, Lauren-Perrier experts who will pair the afternoon tea offering with a variety of champagnes, and a riddling challenge (a tried and true method for ensuring a champagne holds a clear, crisp colour), this immersive experience also allows some guests to win their very own magnum bottle of Laurent-Perrier.

21st and 22nd of October only from 1pm-3pm and 4pm-6pm.

Each element of the afternoon tea will be paired with a Laurent-Perrier Cuvee. Includes three glasses of champagne, a full afternoon tea offering of finger sandwiches, and gourmet sweet treats.

£75.00 per person.


Free Champagne at Searcys St. Pancras Restaurant – Social Media Countdown

During the month of October there will be a “Champagne Countdown” at Searcys St. Pancras Restaurant – located in the grand St. Pancras station. The countdown will be announced on social media and will kick off 1 hour and 70 Seconds of free Champagne for all guests.


Recipe Reveals

Searcys 170th

To celebrate 170 years of fantastic food, Searcys will unveil iconic and well-loved restaurant recipes, which have never been disclosed before.

The recipes for Bakewell Tart, Toad in the Hole, the new 170 Cocktail (with matched canapes), Eve’s Pudding, Northumberland Leek and Potato soup, Salmon Fish Cakes with Tartar Sauce will be revealed across social media, at the dedicated Searcys 170th website, and across the Searcys venues.


Murder On The Orient Express – Inspired Menu at St. Pancras

A special 1930’s themed menu has been created at Searcys St. Pancras Restaurant to celebrate the company’s official partnership with the upcoming film Murder on The Orient Express. The menu, which highlights dishes traditionally served on trains during this time, will feature warming dishes perfect for autumn such as slow cooked lamb broth with winter vegetables, pearl barley, and rosemary, a double baked Roquefort soufflé, and salmon and dill fishcakes with green vegetables and pommery mustard cream.


When guests order from this new menu, they will be entered a competition to win two tickets to a private screening of the film in the 20th Century Fox studio. There will be 72 tickets available for guests to win.
