This is a reminder that you only have until the 18th June to get your hands on the special Sakura menu at Sake no Hana.
Representing incredible value at £34, the limited edition menu includes a cocktail, a bento box created by Executive Head Chef Hideki Hiwatashi, a dessert and macarons.
The inventive Kaori Arpège cocktail is a tasty blend of Beefeater 24 gin, yuzu sake, cherry liqueur, peach bitters, grapefruit juice and agave. Served complete with three atomisers which you spray onto your cocktail enabling you to play around with the flavour balance. Red cherry, black cherry and cinnamon, elderflower and jasmine and violet each add a different element, making it slightly sweeter or more sour.
The menu starts with a small bowl of the tastiest white miso soup we’ve ever had.
A generous Bento Box contains a selection of fresh sushi, hamachi, akami and salmon sashimi.
For your main Bento, choose from either juicy salmon with a cramy egg mustard sauce, sumiyaki chicken with spicy shichimi sauce, or vegetable tempura.
Dessert is a work of art, white chocolate is painted on your plate, while cherry blossom macarons drops from its branches. Almost too pretty too eat.
Service is exceptional and the addition of the cherry blossom installation is not to be missed. Available for lunch and dinner in the bar, Monday to Saturday until 18th June.
