Streetfood stars Rotli Crew are bringing their modern Indian-inspired food to The King & Co pub in Clapham, with their two month kitchen residency launching on Monday 5th October.

Throughout October and November, visitors to Rotli Crew’s kitchen takeover can enjoy diverse regional curries and unusual Indian delicacies, promising sensational flavours not found in your ordinary curry house. The first week’s Special will be Beef Short Rib Vindalho, and popup chef duo will also put their modern Indian spin on weekend brunch – serving up Bombay Breakfast Muffins, authentic Kedgeree, and Gujarati potatoes with puri and pickles on Saturday 10th October.

Otherwise expect exotic small plates including Pani Puri filled with sweet potato, kala chana, tamarind ketchup and green chutney and luscious large plates like Kashmiri Mutton Curry with winter vegetables. Desserts include their Chilli Chocolate Brownie with homemade cardamom ice-cream and Mango and Lime Mousse with Nankhati Biscuit.

Rotli Crew co-founder Ben France said:

“We can’t wait to share our favourite Indian dishes and the flavours that excite us with everyone at The King & Co this Autumn. It’s the food Aneesha grew up eating – served up in our own inimitable contemporary style!”
