Cheap and delicious pizza minutes from Kings Cross!
The second branch of Pizza Union, located on Pentonville Road just 5 minutes from Kings Cross, promises super-speedy pizza that doesn’t compromise on taste. And they certainly deliver!
We opted for the Reine which was topped with Parmesan, Cotto ham, mushrooms and olives and the Calabria with mascarpone, N’duja spicy sausage and rocket. Our pizzas came within minutes of ordering, piping hot and temptingly thin and crispy! The Calabria in particular was really delicious, the spicy N’duja sausage was balanced perfectly with the cooling mascarpone and made for a really tasty, different pizza to those usually found in most pizza places.
The Verdura side salad (rocket, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, black olives and parmesan, dressed with olive oil and balsamic) was nice but let’s be honest, who comes to a pizza place for the salad?!
Now the desserts are another story! If you like the sound of a warm dough ring, oozing with coconut, chocolate and mascarpone then you’ve come to the right place – imagine a warm, melted Bounty encased in a doughy pillow and you get the idea!
With pizzas starting from a crazy £3.95 and open until midnight 7 days a week, Pizza Union is the perfect place for a quick bite to eat when you’re passing through Kings Cross and faced with only McDonalds on the horizon!
