Following on from its spectacular, sell-out summer guest chef series, The Park Table, The Magazine restaurant has just added another date, Friday, 9th September with Madeleine Shaw. Nutritional health coach, yoga teacher and best-selling author, Shaw will create an unforgettable dining experience for 75 guests seated around one long curving table with the iconic Serpentine Sackler Gallery as the backdrop.
Madeleine’s philosophy is simple: drop junk food and eat your way to a healthy lifestyle that is both sustainable and delicious. She cooks with wholefoods, meat, fish and plenty of flavour. At The Magazine restaurant, she will be working with trainee chefs from Café from Crisis, a social enterprise training space. The menu for her exclusive Park Table dinner will feature Steamed mussels with tomato, olives and chorizo or Roasted cauliflower salad with quinoa, chard, pumpkin seeds and kale chips to start; Quinoa burger, sourdough bun, beetroot humus with sweet potato chips and chilli relish or Spicy pulled pork salad with cabbage, apple, pickled onion, pinenuts, mint, coriander and lime dressing mains and Peanut butter shortbread with coconut ice cream to finish.
