Chelsea’s vibrant flower show is set to return this May (23rd – 28th) and Gordon’s Ramsay’s Maze Grill have created a very special ‘picnic’ to celebrate.
We were treated to the spread of dreams – all the best bits from a Great British Picnic – but with all the sophistication of Chelsea – as well as a big scoop of impeccable service to boot.
The special menu features current best-selling dishes such as delicately shaved raw cauliflower with a shaving of parmesan, as well as our absolute favourite spicy salmon maki rolls.
You’ll also get hot sausage rolls with homemade piccalilli, pistachio & sausage meat terrine, and scotch eggs, reimagined with lobster and quails egg. Here, sandwiches are served on sourdough and tied with the prettiest of bows.
Unlike your average afternoon tea, a mix of hot & cold food leaves you feeling totally satisfied with far more inventive flavours along the way.
All of this is accompanied with a glass of pink bubbles from Kent which manages to tie it all together.
And to finish the feast, choose from tea or coffee and a slice of THE most perfect chocolate cake, complete with lime spiked crème fraiche. Perfection.
If the weather is nice, the doors will be flung open to let in all the sights and smells of the show, so you may want to by-pass it altogether and just stay here all day.
Available until 4pm each day, the sparkling picnic lunch costs £35 per person, including a glass of Balfour Brut Rosé, which we think, is fantastic value for money.
