London Cheese Project

We love love love cheese. Melted, dunked, dribbled, devoured. We’ve never met a cheese we don’t like.

If you’re anything like us you’re going to wet your pants at this news. The London Cheese Project is a big BIG cheese festival coming to Camden Market this weekend (May 6th & 7th).

It’s being run by The Cheese Bar and food journalist Patrick McGuigan and is going to be a big celebration of London cheese with stalls from urban cheesemakers, talks and tastings, craft beer, cocktails and live blues and jazz.

Plus all the cheesemakers are teaming up with Camden Market traders to create some one-off specials – The Cheese Bar will be joining forces with Kappacasein to make grilled cheese sandwiches and malakoffs (Swiss fried cheese balls!) and Wildes will be working with Mac to the Future on an all-London mac ‘n’ cheese.

You’ll also have the opportunity to pair your cheese with live music. On both the Saturday and Sunday the bar area will be serenaded by the stripped back sound of live acoustic sets from the likes of Florence Joelle, Camden Acoustic Club and the Joe Mac Blues Band.

Cheese chomping is thirsty work so Crate Brewery will be heading up the beer front and East London Liquor Company will be on the cocktails.
