So far, if you’ve wanted to get in on the Grill my Cheese action you’ll have had to catch them on Leather Lane between 12-2pm Tuesday – Friday.
Well GOOD NEWS – they’ve just moved into the Selfridges food hall for four whole weeks. And quite frankly, it’s perfect timing. Long gone are the silly January diets and bikini season is still too far off to even worry about – if you can’t indulge in the run up to Easter then when can you my friend?
Made using organic sourdough and UK farmhouse cheeses, the menu features all the classics such as the Mac Attack (yep, double carb cheesy goodness) and their signature G.M.C which is a combo of cheddar, mozzarella and béchamel.
And perhaps most exciting of all the Rainbow Toastie – a glorious display of beetroot, rocket, caramelised onion flavoured cheese, goats cheese and truffle oil – it needs to be seen to be believed.
Exclusive to Selfridges is the Hot Cross Bun toastie, which has been given the Grill My Cheese makeover and stuffed with brie, cheddar and spiced salted caramel. Order a raspberry & vanilla slushie to wash it all down and you’re good to go.
Just don’t forget, they’re only around for four weeks so you’ll have to be quick!
