Taking place at Canopy Market, Kings Cross across 29-30th June, the Gelato Festival is now in its 10th year! Showcasing some of the world’s finest gelato chefs, you’ll see 16 of the best artisan producers coming together under one deliciously creamy roof for this year’s event.
We’ll all be praying for hot weather so we can fill our boots with the best soft serves in town. This family-friendly event allows you to sample a mouth-watering selection of flavours, before voting for your favourite. We’re promised unique creations and special editions, including the traditional Cassata Siciliana, the almond, pistachio and mandarin Il Siciliano and the Modica chocolate Il Modicano by Elenka.
You’ll also get up-close-and-personal by watching the masters at work on the world’s largest mobile gelato production laboratory, the “Buontalenti”, in addition to participating in educational workshops where you can learn the art of gelato making with the Carpigiani Gelato University. It’s set to be a refreshing day out as the heat rises over the capital (fingers crossed!), tickets are priced at £15 (£10 per child) and include access to all masterclasses and activities in the gelato school.
