To celebrate the arrival of the IAAF 2017 Athletics World Championships taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium, East Village’s Hand Café has teamed up with Dhan Tamang, the UK’s reigning Latte Art Champion, to create a series of unique latte art designs for the public to enjoy.
These custom-designed lattes, inspired by the athletic sports taking place during the games, will be available for FREE for the first 50 people who visit Hand café this Sunday 6th August.
Spectators to the games can pop to East Village to pick up their free latte from Hand before enjoying East Village’s weekly family Sunday market to browse their range off delicious food, drinks and handmade goods.
Dhan Tamang said: “I’ve loved creating my athletic themed latte art for East Village’s Hand Café to celebrate the IAAF World Championships coming to London. I hope that the customers enjoy drinking them as much as we have enjoyed creating them!”
Neil Young, CEO of Get Living London said: “We’re really excited to invite Dhan Tamang to East Village to share his award winning latte art with us. As the IAAF Championships celebrate athletes at the top of their game, it felt perfectly fitting to partner with the UK’s Latte Art Champion to celebrate the games. We hope that the public enjoy exploring East Village during the games and treat themselves to a champion’s latte.”
