Just in time for Halloween, Ardbeg Whisky has created a wickedly good whisky cocktail for you to try this weekend…
Ardbeg Wee Beastie is the latest permanent expression to join the Distillery’s core range. On the snout, expect hints of vanilla, pear and freshly cracked black pepper. Add a little water to bring out more herbal top notes like vetiver and fennel, along with aniseed, green apple and leather.
Take a sip for a rich, explosive mouthfeel with lots of chocolate, smoked bacon (yes, really!), followed by eucalyptus and more aniseed.

Ardbeg Whisky Bramble Bite
Ingredients
50ml Ardbeg Wee Beastie
20ml fresh lemon juice
10ml vanilla syrup
15ml blackberry liqueur
Mint sprig and blackberry, to garnish
Add Ardbeg, lemon juice and syrup to a stemmed water goblet ominously half-filled with crushed ice. Muddle a little before hurling in more crushed ice. Drizzle with dripping blackberry liqueur and garnish with a mint sprig and a blackberry. Woo-Ha Ha Ha…
