Stoke Newington certainly ain’t short of a brunch spot or two, so you know you’re onto a winner when you find one that’s this packed.
Andi’s is of course from the beautiful Andi Oliver – judge on BBC2’s the Great British Menu, but also a musician, pub landlady and supper club guru.
This beautiful spot (painted ‘Crummbs turquoise’ outside – we approve!!) is just bursting with good vibes.
The big draw here are the mix and match baked eggs. Choose a base for your Burford Brown eggs – green herb, chipotle & roast tomato or roast garlic & onion cream, before adding three toppings. We went for Seasonal greens, merguez sausages and halloumi but there’s tons to choose from.
Brunch wouldn’t be brunch without breakfast booze. The rum & maple iced latte made a nice change from your classic Mimosas & Bloody Mary’s.
When we turned up they were mega busy so kindly encouraged us to help ourselves to the pastries on the counter. Such a nice touch.
We’ll be back to try the mega energy bowls full of delicious grains, pulses and protein. YUM!
Dinner looks like a more upmarket affair and changes seasonally. Tuna Tataki followed by slow roasted pork cheek anyone? Oh and just in case you need anymore convincing, they have a cute little courtyard out back.
With a tagline of ‘A LITTLE LOVE IN YOUR TUMMY’ we couldn’t agree more.
