Calling all night owls, early birds and everyone who lives life to the full
VQ, the 24 hour café & diner that has been feeding and watering Chelsea’s finest round the clock for 18 years, is opening a fantastic new restaurant in Great Russell Street WC1 in late October.
We do love an early hours nibble at Duck and Waffle, but now our 24hour options have widened!
With a 45ft glass frontage, huge light wall with changing imagery and light movements, plus space for 120 covers, VQ will be a constantly evolving space in which diners and drinkers will feel at home at any time of the day or night.
Situated on the ground floor of the St Giles Hotel you can pop in for brunch, turn up at 2am for a burger or tuck into an all-day breakfast at 11pm.
Burgers in the middle of the night and all day breakfast the next day? You had us at burgers!
A full Late Night Refreshment Licence means they never have to close, and champagne, wine, beer and cocktails will be available from 8am to 2am every day. VQ prides itself on serving classic dishes to suit every taste in a relaxed, informal and stylish environment.
As well as their legendary all-day (and night!) breakfast menu featuring everything from bubble ’n’ squeak to eggs benedict, diners can choose from an irresistible selection of burgers, salads, pasta, mains and sharing plates. Need an old-school sugar rush in the early hours? VQ’s apple crumble and custard or jelly and ice cream will do the trick. Quite simply, whatever you want, whenever you want it, VQ delivers – 24 hours a day – in a friendly, buzzing atmosphere.
Managing Director, Simon Prideaux says:
“Since becoming a totally independent company in December 2011, VQ has taken a huge leap forward. The rebranding and refurbishment of the Fulham Road site gave us a revitalised, modernised and strengthened concept. We can now focus on becoming the market leaders in 24 hour dining, and with record results over the past year the wheels are very much in motion to build VQ into a successful and respected restaurant group. It’s extremely exciting to be opening a 2nd site after 18 years, and in a location that we believe to be perfect for taking the VQ concept to the next stage.”
With VQ in Chelsea celebrating its 18th birthday this November following its’ most successful year yet, this latest venture in Bloomsbury looks set to be keeping customers happy around the clock for many years to come.
