Sidled up to York & Albany in a converted stable of the former coaching inn is a new North London wine bar.
The perfect setting for a catch up with a friend or after work, mid week drink – set amongst exposed brick, cobbles and wood and surrounded by wines and vines; York and Albany’s wine bar is a lovely local hideaway.
You can discover their wines by the bottle or glass and, even better, try before you buy with the help of their friendly expert staff. There are three wines on tap – a dry, rich Bacchus from Kingscote Vineyards, Sussex; a fruity white Grüner Veltiner from Austria and a amazing Terrasses Rouge (Grenache/Syrah) which comes highly recommended!
Head Chef Will Stanyer has put on a daily-changing, seasonal selection of tasty, affordable plates to snack on and share with friends. We definitely recommend the artichoke with aioli – amazing! Oh and do get a plate of the chorizo croquettes too!
There will be monthly drop-in and ticketed events such as workshops, talks and masterclasses – so keep an eye out!
