Like food full of flavour? Enjoy theatre, comedy and performances in general? Looking for something to do in Waterloo?
Then head down to the Vaults on the infamous graffitied Leake Street before 5th March, for Vault Festival!
Described as London’s answer to the Edinburgh Fringe, Vault Festival brings together the hottest new names on the circuit, with a truly diverse range of performances.
It’s not just a good show you can pick up here either. Resident chef Martin H Shaw is serving-up a sumptuous range of Eastern European and Mediterranean flavours to audiences, at his pop-up Balkano.
We were treated to fluffy flat breads, chicken souvlaki, perfectly seasoned rice and our favourite, the Slavic Slaw. All of which were hearty and tasty, which were just what we needed on the cold day we popped down. The bar staff also looked after us, creating specially-requested, off-menu alcohol-free cocktails (during the dark days of Dry January).
