Those clever kids at Queen of Hoxton have done it again and this year is even better than before. This year expect the roof to be transformed into a magical forest inspired by the Grimms’ brothers Fairy Tales.
Make your way up the vine-covered winding stairs and spot hundreds of books leading you to the giant keyhole, the entrance to your new winter drinking den. Inside, a tree house with a raised mezzanine elevates you even higher up East London’s iconic rooftop. Expect ornate mirrors, silhouettes of gnarly branches and look out for watchful faces amongst the golden trees.
Hot cocktails will warm you up, forgetting you’re high above the street below. Check out the Gardener’s Grog – hot blackcurrant, blackberry & rosemary gin punch! Or get super festive with a hot gingerbread & apple toddy!
You’ll need something to line the stomach – tuck into winter warmers such as slow roast shoulder of lamb or three bean stew – all under £8!
