The Grand Finale!

This Saturday 13th September marks the end of The British Craft Beer Challenge, the grand finale – GB vs The Rest of the World!

Its the big one people!

Britain’s influence across the world has been well documented. Our small island has triumphed throughout history, bringing many wonders of the industrial revolution to the wider world at large. From railroads to justice systems, sports and games to beer, Great Britain has given the world some of the best. And in 2014, GB is proving that we’ve got the best ales and tipples to conquer the world of craft brewing.

After destroying the likes of the US, the Commonwealth and coming neck and neck with Europe, it’s time for the UK’s best-loved brews to take the final showdown against the rest of the world’s craft goodies. On the 13thSeptember, the best of the British crop will battle out in the grand finale, a last chance for ultimate global domination against some of the freshest, tangiest and most popular beverages, hand picked from the most far-reaching outposts of the globe. Breweries confirmed so far come in the shape and might of Sleemans, Magic Rock, Ilkley, Siren andHopstuff available for sampling.

For those that aren’t looking for a hop inspired treat, there’s mouth watering cocktails from around the world to satisfy even the most indulgent of palates featuring everything from Singapore Slings to punches & much more. London Fields Brewery will be providing an eclectic menu of Global Burgers to help you soak up those competing beers, featuring unique and fancy themes from Mexico to Italy. Beer and burger: the perfect combination.

Keep entertained by playing games such as Twister, Articulate and Scrabble whilst dancing to a playlist, which promises to keep spirits and jovial atmosphere high. The Brewhouse will be a bound with breweries, beers, food and music with a convivial party ambience. For the real hop enthusiasts out there, London Fields will also give a HomeBrew Demo, empowering patrons with the inspiration and knowledge to follow their own craft paths and a pop up demo workshop from US craft masters Brooklyn Brewery.

  • Fascinating food matching and experimentation will keep you thinking whilst drinking.

  • Feed on hearty cook-ups, local Hackneyite and London Fields chef supremo Jess Simmons will be tantalising the taste buds with BBQ meats and vegetable treats – be treated by a new flavour combination that will stand up to any imperial stout.
