A groundbreaking fine dining experience, introducing provocative cultural engagement in a distinctly ‘old school’ environment.
It takes you back to school for a slap up meal that nods playfully to those unlamented lunches of childhood (lumpy custard anyone?)…
Before Assembly, and an hour’s wit and wisdom from some of the nation’s finest and funniest minds.
Set in the stirring Victorian surroundings of the Central Foundation Boys’ School, they will begin with Registration, where you will be serenaded by the school choir and reassured with bespoke cocktails (for anyone suffering a flashback). Led through to the Dining Hall, you will be served a four-course banquet by Dinner Ladies dressed in the obligatory gingham, until the “Head Teacher” (part Dr Thomas Arnold, part Mrs McClusky) interrupts coffee to lead through to Assembly. Bike shed provided for naughty smokers.
Tickets are on sale now priced £60 + bf per person and include a four course meal and canapés.
