Town Hall Hotel’s resident bar, Peg + Patriot will release a series of limited-edition festival themed cocktails in the run up to this summer’s most popular international music events.
Available from 1st June, the Bethnal Green bar has created five cocktails inspired by Benicassim, Wilderness, Glastonbury, Burning Man and neighbouring Lovebox festival.
Each cocktail imaginatively captures the spirit and flavours of the festivals, from the glassware to the ingredients and finishes. For those who love the great British countryside, Glastonbury is served in a glass tankard, incorporating clotted cream bourbon and apple cider.
For a taste of Spain the Benicassim combines refreshing horchata distillate, albarino wine and summer citrus whilst Lovebox enlists herby lovage, Lisle St gin and seasonal citrus, served in a box, for a playful yet sophisticated palate.
The Wilderness cocktail is a vivid green blend of nettle and grass gin, citrus, and blackberry distillate inspired by foraged fruits and the Burning Man combines tequila, lime acid, agave and ‘Death Valley’ tincture enthused by the festival’s black rock desert landscape.
The festival menu is available from 1st June and will run throughout summer, no wellies required.
