Pre Party: Oriole & Bulleit Bourbon

Oriole Bar is teaming up with Bulleit Bourbon to present an evening of free live music and delectable cocktails at happy prices to celebrate the close of the Whisky Exchange London. Wristband holders will be treated to a cocktail on the house at Oriole thanks to Bulleit. Then from 9pm, London based four piece Fraser & the Alibis will play the hippest in Bop, Blues and Boogaloo. A night guaranteed to get you up dancing and tastebuds tingling!

Super Pearl! Black Pearl takes over Super Lyan

Kicking off London Cocktail Week with a superhero style collaboration of bartenders, Super Lyan will be welcoming the team from the award-winning Melbourne cocktail bar Black Pearl for a one-night only takeover. A special menu of Bacardi serves will accompany the partnership with Super Lyan’s Ryan Chetiyawardana and head bartender Will Sleeman joined by Black Pearl’s Rob Libecans, Kitty Gardner, and Chris Hysted-Adams.

The Devil’s Darling Classics Collective for LCW – World Class Whisky Cocktails

On Thursday 5th October classics cocktail bar The Devil’s Darling is partnering with leading whisky expert Colin Dunn to host a special evening celebrating the history of whisky cocktails. Part of The Devil’s Darling’s ‘Classics Collective’ series, which sees the bar partner with a drinks industry expert to shine a spotlight on a particular spirit or serve, guests will be taken on a five-course, tasting menu style journey through different types of whiskies and cocktails.

Hosted by Colin Dunn and Thomas Aske, co-founder of The Devil’s Darling, guests will receive an ‘Amuse Bouche’ style welcome drink of Clarified Copper Dog Punch on arrival before being seated. The menu which follows will feature classic serves using Bulleit, Roe & Co and Talisker Amoroso, before a final tasting flight of the four whiskies. With each ‘course’ Colin and Thomas will provide some insight into the history of the cocktail, how it came to be, and how it’s shaped the way we drink today. As each drink is served, a specially chosen vinyl record which fits the story behind the cocktail will be played.

The secret Schweppes Alchemy Bar is a bar within a bar; inviting London’s cocktail lovers to explore the curious world of the original alchemist, Jacob Schweppe, and experience 250 years of expertise brought bubbling to life with the latest creations from London’s most revered modern-day alchemists, including experiential experts Smith & Sinclair and mixologist mastermind and Drinks Expert for Schweppes, Tony Conigliaro.

Open in Covent Garden, The Schweppes Alchemy Bar will offer a menu of unconventional flavour pairings and cocktails spanning the periodic table, as well as the Schweppes Laboratory Experience, something extra special for guests looking to delve deeper into the science of cocktail making.

Guests who book the Schweppes Laboratory Experience will be handed the keys to a hidden bar where they will take part in an exclusive cocktail-making session from the lost notebooks of the master alchemist himself, and learn the elusive art of bottling bubbles – with the chance to take home their very own edible G&T flavoured bubbles! – before finishing in Jacob’s secret study to enjoy an exclusive taste of Schweppes’ newest creation.
