Little Bird will open their new creative HQ in two disused arches under Peckham Rye station that have outside space from this week onwards across the winter season.
Purveyors of gin cocktails and vintage vibes, Little Bird will take up residency in both arches from Saturday 24th October. There will be the opportunity to try some enchanting concoctions in a swanky, sultry, speakeasy-style cocktail bar in arch one. Arch two will run with a more downtown, relaxed, vintage theme and will have classic cocktails to match.
Good Dog will be left off their leash and will be asking you to ‘Come, Sit, Stay’ with their destination hot dog combinations.
Turning a derelict site in to somewhere that people can enjoy whilst maintaining the culture, identity and creativity of Peckham Rye is the driving force behind Nights & Weekends.
Taskin Muzaffer commented: “We had an empty space under Peckham Rye station that was sitting there getting overgrown and looking broken down. Local gin brand – Little Bird, needed an office and with the space available, we’ll also be able to bring in other local brands and artists to work with us. Over time, we hope to see this little urban oasis grow into useable office space and a venue for performances, exhibitions, great food and more. We’ll be putting emphasis on unique brands, sensible opening hours, excellent service and creating a space that is community driven.”
