Number 90 are now in their 2nd year of playing hosts to some pretty awesome summer parties and for summer 2016 they’ve just opened La Terraza, a new Mexican pop-up overlooking the canal where you’ll be able to get the fiesta started by sipping on some frozen margaritas, eating tasty Mexican street food whilst boogying down to some cracking DJ’s.
The margaritas are strong but seriously delicious (we knocked a few down so fast we had MAJOR brain freeze). You’ll get your pick of passion fruit, strawberry or a classic Tommy margarita and for £20 you can go mad and have the bottomless option (available Saturdays and Sundays)! They’ll also be craft beer, tequila and a few booze free cocktails too.
If you don’t want things to get too boozy too quickly, snap up some Mexican favourites such as pulled chicken tostadas, chili con carne tacos, veggie quesadillas, cheesy nachos or Mexican salads. If you fancy eating something even more crunchy and a bit more unusual, get in on the cricket eating competition! Not one we have tried, sadly the crickets hadn’t made it on time that evening, (sigh)!
La Terraza will be hosting loads of events this summer, with Wednesday nights being dedicated to Life Drawing, Thursday nights there will be some banging new bands playing live, Friday’s the bar will be transformed into an Open Air Cinema and the weekend will be all about hitting the bottomless cocktails and DJ sets, we can’t wait for summer to actually be here! There’s something for everyone at La Terraza so swing by and start making the most of summer (apparently arriving this weekend…FINALLY!)
