Jose Cuervo tequila partners with The Hoxton, Shoreditch to host a Mexican tequila garden pop up as part of London Cocktail Week.
A week-long pop up Mexican tequila garden taking place during London Cocktail Week, from 6th – 12th October sounds right up our street – and we thought you’d want in to!
Cuervo’s Hacienda will give you the chance to learn about tequila, its rich history and how to make delicious drinks with the Introduction to Tequila Master Class, as well as trying the seasonal Day of the Dead inspired cocktail for just £4 with a London Cocktail Week wristband. Other cocktails, such as the classic Margarita and warm tequila toddies will be available to try throughout the week.
Cuervo’s Hacienda will see the hotel’s atrium space transformed into the courtyard of the famous Cuervo’s Hacienda, home of Jose Cuervo tequila, complete with fresh fruits, herbs & spices, flowers & plants and mini Agave plants. Forget shots and tequila slammers, Cuervo’s Hacienda is all about tequila cocktails; proving that Margaritas aren’t just for summer, Cuervo’s Hacienda will serve brand new seasonal margaritas (think hints of cinnamon, orange and coffee).
Cuervo’s Hacienda will also be bringing London Cocktail Week to an end in true Mexican style with an all-day, all-night closing fiesta on Saturday 11th October, featuring Latino beats, guest bartenders and a chance to try never-before-tasted Cuervo cocktails.
Jose Cuervo Ambassador Gabriela Moncada will be bringing knowledge from her Mexican hometown of Jalisco to London with the Introduction to Tequila Master Class, which will take place on Thursday 9th October.
Not only will you get the chance to try a special selection of Jose Cuervo’s portfolio of 13 tequilas, including bartender favourite Reserva De La Familia, you’ll also learn how to create the Classic Cuervo Margarita and invent your own Day of the Dead themed margarita using the herbs, spices and fruits from the Hacienda. The masterclass is just £10 a ticket, which includes the class, a tequila sampling, two cocktails and a mini Cuervo Margarita kit to take home.
