Housed in an old Georgian butcher’s shop, Brewer’s Bar is the latest addition to Shacklewell Lane, having been lovingly renovated by Cal Smith, a trained restorer who quit his day-job as a television producer to work full-time on returning the premises to its former glory. *The Dream*
It’s the perfect contrast to the chaos of Dalston and still feels like your own little secret. Not for much longer we’re sure, because Cal has created a super cosy candlelit space with a cracking selection of craft beer & artisan wines alongside cheese plates & charcuterie.
During the day this clever little space is a café which serves jewellery and coffee, then at 5/6pm each night the transformation happens and Brewer’s Bar is born again.
If you fancy trying it out we recommend nabbing tickets to the Brünch popup happening on the 28th Feb. If you haven’t brunched Berlin style, expect unlimited fresh Sourdough from the Dusty Knuckle Bakery (our fave), locally-sourced cold meats and cheese, home-made granola, eggs, waffles and bottomless tea & coffee.
Tickets are limited so round up your Dalston posse & book now!
