Following the success of its second site in Islington, BIRD, the free range and fried chicken specialist, is seeing in the New Year by setting up nest in Camden. To celebrate the new launch, and to help combat the January Blues, BIRD will be offering 50% off all food from the 21st through the 24th of January.
Located on bustling Chalk Farm Road, just a stone’s throw from Camden’s Roundhouse, the new 60-seater restaurant also boasts an outdoor space.
The food and drinks menu will see all of BIRD’s signature dishes return and will include:
- Fried Chicken Pieces and Wings– fried to a crispy finish and served with sauces on the side or tossed in a glaze, all made in-house.
- The Original Waffle Burger– two pieces of fried chicken with American cheese, hot sauce and Canadian maple syrup, sandwiched between two fresh-griddled waffles.
- Nashville Hot Burger– fried chicken coated with extra hot cayenne glaze served with melted American cheese, house kewpie mayo and pickles.
- Mu Shu Crispy Fried Chicken– Chopped fried thighs, served with thin Chinese cucumbers, scallions and Tonkatsu sauce.
To round off the menu, a selection of slides will be offered, including Cheesy Korean fries, Jalapeno Corn Pudding and Deep-Fried Pickles. Dreamy!
The popular Doughnut Hatch will once again make an appearance, with glazed doughnuts made in-house daily. BIRD will offer two different glazes each day, which can include salted caramel with pistachio crumble, pink vanilla or peanut butter, amongst many other flavours.
Keeping the drinks offering local, BIRD has once again collaborated with Camden Town Brewery to supply the draft beer station at the new site. These will sit alongside a selection of craft beers, and a highlight cocktail collection, ranging from popular items like the Passion Fruit Margarita to classics such The Dirtybird.
From the 21st – 24th of January, BIRD Camden will offer 50% off the food bill for all customers.
