Your [new] neighbourhood rotisserie restaurant, Le Coq is soft launching today with a great discount and even greater menu.
The soft launch runs from Tuesday 20th to Sunday 25th August
Set up by Ana and Sanja Morris of Salt Yard, Bocca di Luppa and Rochelle Canteen fame; Le Coq offers relaxed dining with communal tables, as well as individual tables and a small bar plus a view of the open kitchen.
The menu is rustic, seasonal and sourced, in the grand scheme of things, fairly local (Suffolk). The chicken is free range and slow grown, fed on an additive free diet. Theyre probably healthier than you or us!
Other charming plate son the menu include a Jasmine Tea-Cured Char with Beetroot Remoulade and Crispy Baby Artichokes with Goat’s Curd & Gremolata. The Rabbit Rilettes with homemade pickles on their Autumn menu is enough to make us look forward to the end of summer!
The rotisserie chicken, as well as the puddings, can be eaten in or taken away in LeCoq’s distinctive take away packaging. Potatoes roasted in the dripping chicken juices will also be available for take away to accompany your chicken.
They will also be collaborating with artisanal ice cream makers Sorbitium Ices to serve creative ice creams made from the best quality raw ingredients.
