Opening this evening for a special launch, The Tree House at Skylounge is a winter wonderland in the rooftop bar on top of the DoubleTree Hilton at Tower Hill.
The terrace has been transformed into a mystical, enchanted woodland tree house among the shiny high-rises of the city. The tree house has a rustic, cosy feel with lights wrapped around branches, warming heaters and sweeping views across the city to be admired while sipping on specially-crafted cocktails!
The winter-inspired cocktail menu includes a Hot & Cold Spice Toddy – a warming mix of Chairman’s Reserve Spice Rum, spices and hot apple cider, topped with a mountain of whipped cream! It’s a decadent and delicious take on a mulled cider! A Plum & Rum Old Fashioned is a festive take on an old classic (Chairman’s Reserve Rum, homemade plum purée and plum bitters) and the Treehouse Punch (Chairman’s Reserve Rum, fresh thyme tea and lemon juice, topped up with Rekorderlig Apple Cider and fruit mix) is a refreshing, fruity mix.
If you get peckish, we would recommend the Truffle Mac & Cheese and Spicy Chicken Nuggets with Bourbon Dip. After all, you need something to keep you going at a high altitude, right?!
Open Wednesday to Saturday, 5pm til late, The Tree House at Skylounge lets you imagine you’re far away from the city in a cosy winter wonderland while also enjoying the fabulous city views that prove you’re not!
The Tree House at Skylounge is open until the end of February 2016.
