A Rioja Festival is coming to the capital, at a secret location on London’s iconic Southbank. From 7pm – 9pm on Thursday 17th October, join us and other fellow wine and food lovers for a night of a hundred Riojas; innovative food pairings; live jamón carving, expert-led speed tastings and fun fiesta vibes.
Rioja has it all, from crisp whites and rosés to fruit-forward lighter reds and rich, majestic, barrel-aged beauties perfect for autumnal sipping and the Rioja Festival will showcase the full line up, all set against the spectacular backdrop of the London skyline.
When it comes to finding the perfect food match for your Rioja, there’ll be no shortage of options with a talented team of chefs coming up with a truly global menu – think zesty white with spicy curry and a juicy red with tasty tacos.
Fear not tapas lovers, for Spanish food is also on the menu – straight from Camino, the home of Spanish tapas in London. They’ve collaborated with executive chef Nacho del Campo to create some top tapas dishes made for Rioja. Nacho will also be there to serve up succulent Jamón Serrano on the night.
And if all you want to do on the night is find ‘the one’, don’t forget to join one of the speed tasting ‘Get to know Rioja’ sessions, hosted by a wine expert, who’ll introduce you to some suitable suitors.
