On the 10th of July brothers, Matteo and Salvatore Aloe will open Radio Alice Pizzeria at Canary Wharf Jubilee Place, their third pizzeria in London and fourteenth across the UK and Italy. To celebrate they will be giving away a very generous 3000 slices of pizza on the evening of 10th July at Radio Alice Canary Wharf.
Sliced to share, Matteo’s signature sourdough pizza is made fresh every day; using organic stoneground flour, sourdough starter and topped with seasonal ingredients. In addition to the pizzeria’s staples of organic Italian flour, tomato, fiordilatte mozzarella and oil, the seasonal summer menu will include pizzas topped with local produce from Ginger Pig and Buchanan’s cheesemonger. Enjoy a slice whilst sipping Radio Alice’s own brew from Beer52 or wine from Libera Terra (Free Earth), a co-operative turning confiscated mafia land into organic and high-quality vineyards.
Dough-lovers can listen to tunes from DJs playing at Canary Wharf ‘slice night’ via Radio Alice’s own web radio, that will play across all the pizzerias in London and Italy.
“We’re really excited about the opportunity to be opening at Canary Wharf in such a bustling location. We’re looking forward to being a friendly oasis where you can enjoy fast, organic sourdough pizza, cold wine and super music.” Matteo Aloe. “We’re extending the party to Hoxton and Clapham to allow all our friends who’ve supported Radio Alice so far to join in on the celebrations, join us for a toast.” adds Matteo.
