Pub in the Park is back, baby, and this time it’s supersized

Pub In The Park 2022

Introducing PUB 150…that’s right. 150 incredible dishes, from some of the UK’s very best chefs, served across nine locations up and down the country at the Pub in the Park festival this summer.

In total you’ll be able to get your hands on grub from 39 pop-up restaurants, sharing an impressive 13 Michelin stars between them. This includes Pub in the Park festival frontman Tom Kerridge, Britain’s youngest ever Michelin starred chef Tommy Banks, and the delightful Angela Hartnett, among others.

The first wave of dishes has been announced and we had the pleasure of getting a little preview ahead of the festival going on the road. We kicked off with Tom Kerridge’s The Hand & Flowers pork belly and smoked cod’s roe taco served with apple ketchup, crackling and pickled red onion, and Atul Kochhar returns with his best-selling murgh tikka masala pie – pure genius.

New additions include Tommy Bank’s Made in Oldstead bourbon and hickory pulled pork bao with glazed kimchi, and The Star Inn will be serving its signature ‘Spiced K.F.P’ AKA Kentucky fried pheasant, with siracha slaw, Henderson’s hot wing sauce and toasted sesame.

Stunning seafood dishes include Bar 44’s shellfish bisque with braised bomba rice, queen scallop, wild red prawn, crab and sherry aioli – for pure holiday vibes, regardless of what the weather is up to. And you’d be mad to miss Cue Point’s 16-hour oak-smoked brisket ‘naco’ which has started to get quite the name for itself. If veggies are more your thing, Café Murano brings the goods with its ricotta tortellini, with sage butter, but with 150 dishes to choose from, we’re confident you’re going to find something you love.

Pub in the Park will be running its largest ever tour with nine locations from May to September 2022 – with new towns including Wimbledon and Brighton. The music line-up is better than ever with performances from Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, McFly, Kaiser Chiefs, Melanie C, Craig David TS5, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Natalie Imbruglia, The Human League, The Cuban Brothers, Happy Mondays, Huey Morgan DJ set and more.

Tom Kerridge said “I think you’ll agree this is the best line-up of music and chefs we’ve ever had. I cannot wait to get on tour and start having fun. PUB 150 is not only the largest food menu of any festival but it’s guaranteed to be the tastiest one you try this summer. I cannot wait for you to get your hands on these dishes!”
